Tanna-Adventures | Jack's Nima.
A Melanesian inspired bungalow superbly positioned to amenities and views.
Outlook from Jack's Nima.
Jack's Nima has an appealing character, that is enhanced by a large wrap-around deck, that affords it with some of the best views available.
The original bungalow at Rachel and Esso's, it is positioned to take in the best views of Mt Yasur Volcano, as well as possessing an outstanding outlook over surrounding tropical hills and valleys. It also has great views of the East coast beaches and the large deck provides plenty of viewing angles.
Dawn and sunrise can be particularly stunning on still days with distinct cloud formations over the sea. The Tanna-Adventures accommodation is unique in that it is the only accommodation in the Middlebush highlands.
Jack's Nima - Exterior.
Jack’s Nima was the first bungalow constructed at Esso and Rachel’s location and embodies the best of both Western and Melanesian attributes. Being a substantial bungalow by Vanuatu standards, it also possesses a large "L-shaped" deck, not normally a feature of Vanuatu bungalows.
While it is inspired by modern design, it embodies traditional split bamboo cladding and coconut woven roofing. As such, it maintains an atmosphere and amenity associated with traditional bungalows. Three substantial louvred windows provide connection to the surrounding landscapes.
Jack's Nima - Interior.
Jack's Nima has a comfortable Queen bed, that is positioned centrally. The bungalow is also furnished with a single bed, accommodating up to three (3) people. Ideally situated for a family of three, it has often been booked by a couple and adult friend.
Jack's Nima has a high ceiling and geneous dimensions which presents an affable atmosphere and feeling of space for guests.
